Patrick is a mixed media based artist based in Miami Beach Florida. Most of my work is based on photos I or my friends/hubby have taken. I print the photos on canvas or archival cotton rag, then add layers of acrylic paint and/or encaustic wax. I paint what I like – fish and men, and can make photo-based commissions of people/pets etc – send a photo, get art!

I’ve been scuba diving since I was 10 years old and had a camera with me pretty much the entire time. I started with a point and shoot film camera that would sit in a bright yellow water tight housing from Sea&Sea and won my first underwater photo competition in Okinawa Japan at 12. Since then the world and I have moved to digital camera’s and filled countless memory cards since along the way.

I have exhibited around Miami and Miami Beach since moving to South Florida in 2012 and started a queer art show sponsored by the Gaythering – Queer Easels – which takes place the last Saturday of most months!
